Finding a spiritual home begins with honoring the quiet curiosity within you. Through Hashpa'ah, the sacred practice of Jewish spiritual direction, we create space to listen deeply to where spirit is moving in your everyday life and learning.

As Ralph Benmergui, Rosh Hashpa'ah at Aleph, shares, when that inner spark begins to grow, there is a grounded, welcoming community ready to walk alongside you. Whether you are called to train as a spiritual director or seeking thoughtful guidance for your own journey, our programs offer the companionship, contemplative depth, and wisdom to support you.

The door is open. Explore our Hashpa'ah program and spiritual offerings through the link in our bio.

Compassion doesn't begin when we agree. It begins when we choose to remain present with one another, even across our differences.

In Jewish Renewal, sacred community is built through listening, curiosity, and the willingness to see the Divine reflected in every person we meet.

May we become people who lead with compassion first.

Neshamah is the Hebrew word for soul, but it also reminds us of something deeper.

In Jewish thought, every person carries a divine spark. Your neshamah is the sacred part of you that reflects compassion, wisdom, creativity, and love. It is always present, even in seasons when you feel disconnected or uncertain.

Jewish Renewal invites us to care for the soul just as we care for the body. Through prayer, music, community, gratitude, and acts of kindness, we nurture the light that already lives within us.

Your soul was never meant to be hidden. It was created to shine.

What if Havdalah could be more than the end of Shabbat? What if it could be a new beginning?

Meet Marni Loffman, co-leading Bein Hashemashot: Boston alongside Rabbi Ariel Hendelman on Saturday, November 7!

Join Aleph: The Jewish Renewal Movement for an immersive Havdalah experience where ancient traditions meet contemporary spiritual expression.

Together, we’ll explore the sacred in-between through music, meaningful ritual, and community connection, creating space to reflect on what we’re leaving behind and what we’re welcoming into our lives.

Rooted in the joy, mysticism, and spiritual fire of Jewish Renewal, this gathering is an invitation to experience Havdalah in a new and meaningful way.

Some wisdom doesn't ask us to do more. It asks us to notice what is already here.

To be alive is not something we have to earn. There is holiness in simply being present, in breath, in connection, in the ordinary moments we might otherwise overlook.

What if today, you simply allowed yourself to be?

Torah is not just something we read. It is something we live.

Through her work with Living Torah, this Aleph student meets families exactly where they are, creating inclusive lifecycle rituals that bring them closer to community. This is the heart of the Aleph experience. As she shares, the program is incredible because students bring their vibrant, active lives directly into their studies. The learning goes far beyond the text on the page because it is enriched by the lived experiences of everyone in the room.

How do you bring your own life experiences into your spiritual learning?
