Come by the Manayunk Bridge Garden tomorrow from 11-1pm for a chill but important work session. We'll be digging up sections of aster and goldenrod, beautiful as it is in Fall the garden is too Fall-centric. We will be planting and seating a range of native plants on Saturday 10/24 that will make next year a showstopper all year!

We're beyond excited to share that RMC volunteer Cayla Milius and illustrator Kelly Schanes have created We Love You, Manayunk!, a charming book celebrating community stewardship and beloved local spaces—including two RMC sites, the Manayunk Canal and Fountain Street Steps!
And the best part? All book proceeds benefit RMC through the end of the year! Wow — Thank you so much, Cayla and Kelly!

So head over to The OFFICIAL Manayunk, Philadelphia Fall Fest -- We love you, Manayunk! Will be available for purchase at their booth on Roxborough Avenue (off of Main St) from 11- 4 pm; grab a copy and support our parks!

Join us this Saturday from 10AM-12PM for a volunteer session at Neighbors Woodland! This is a combined event of the Friends of neighborswoodland and RMC volunteers. If you're not familiar with this pocket park or are curious about all the action this season – – come by, lend a hand and learn about upcoming projects in 2027! This is the Friends' final volunteer session for the year.

Meet the corner of Manor and Hermit Street. Bring gloves and clippers/loppers if you have! We'll have extras :) No experience needed. All are welcome.

Then stay and share a drink and a bite to eat. :) see you Saturday!

Join us tomorrow for the last morning session in 2026! and it's a good one :) We'll be planting shrubs and flowering perennials! Scroll to see the space over the season -- there are going to be a lot more summer blooms next week year! The Friends of Fountain St Steps are at fountain and Umbria Sts -- Meet at the upper section.

Rain Cancellation — Bird Walk Rescheduled!With lots of rain in tomorrow’s forecast, we’re moving our Manayunk Guided Bird Walk to Saturday, October 17, from 3:30–5:30 PM.

Join us to explore three unique RMC parks and a variety of bird habitats, from woodlands to waterways!
