Recently, I had the opportunity to tour Active Day in Bristol.

Active Day provides vital services for adults with intellectual disabilities and cognitive challenges, offering engaging activities, community outings, assistance with daily living, and a safe, supportive environment for participants and their families.

I want to extend a special thank you to John, the center’s director, and the entire staff for the incredible work they do each day. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many members of our community.

Today, we honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who have helped shape our lives through their love, guidance, sacrifice, and support. Thank you for the countless ways you strengthen our families and communities. Happy Father's Day to all who celebrate.

I’d like to especially wish a Happy Father’s Day to my amazing husband Jim and my father, whose memory I carry with me every day.

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth — a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality under the law.

Juneteenth is an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history, recognize the contributions of Black Americans, and reaffirm our commitment to building a more just and united future for all.

Please be advised, my office will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. We wish everyone a meaningful Juneteenth celebration!

We will reopen during normal business hours on Monday, June 22.

This summer, I’m grateful that the Bristol Township School District is once again offering free breakfast and lunch through its Summer Food Service Program for any child 18 years old or younger. Beginning June 22, meals will be available Monday through Friday at Truman High School and Mill Creek Elementary, with no application or registration required. Children do not need to be enrolled in Bristol Township schools to participate.

Programs like this help ensure that children continue to have access to healthy, nutritious meals while school is out for the summer. Thank you to the district’s Food Service Department and all those working behind the scenes to support local families and keep our students nourished and ready to learn.

Recently, I had the opportunity to tour Historic Bolton Mansion c1687 here in my district. This historic site, which dates back to the Revolutionary War, is filled with stories from our nation's past—and I greatly appreciated Ralph, who kindly shared the estate’s story and guided us around the property.

Stay tuned for more on Bolton Mansion and its fascinating history as we approach our nation’s 250th birthday!

Last Friday, my staff joined volunteers at the 41st Annual Jesse E. Hill Flag Memorial in Falls Township, helping plant flags in honor of the more than 58,000 Americans who gave their lives during the Vietnam War.

Each flag represents a service member who made the ultimate sacrifice. As we celebrate Flag Day, we remember their courage, honor their service, and recommit ourselves to ensuring their legacy is never forgotten.

Hi All, I know it’s a hot one, but DV3 needs help taking out the flags from the ground in honor of Flag Day at Falls Township Community Park.

🇺🇸 Today, we celebrate Flag Day and honor the Stars and Stripes — the enduring symbol of our nation and the freedoms we hold dear.

As America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary next month, our flag stands as a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unity that have carried our country through generations. On this Flag Day, we proudly reflect on our history and look ahead to the future of this great nation.
