Juneteenth is about freedom. For Black families, that word has always meant something deeply personal: the right to keep their children, to raise them, to feed them themselves.
For generations, even that was taken. Mothers were made to nurse other people's babies while their own went hungry. Families were torn apart and sold. June 19th marks the day freedom finally reached the last people still held in slavery, and the day families could begin holding on to each other again.
To every Black mother, father, and grandparent who kept their family whole against all of it: thank you. What you fought for lives inside the families we get to support today❤️

At the Breastfeeding Resource Center, parents come together each week not only for professional guidance, but for community — to laugh, cry, learn, and support one another.
Your feedback, trust, and experiences are the heart of this center.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. 🤍

The best part of these gatherings is rarely the information. It's sitting next to another parent and realizing you're not the only one ✨
This week's events are all here. Come meet them🤍

What does antenatal colostrum harvesting actually look like in practice?
In this episode, Colette and Louisa talk with Natalie Andinolfi, IBCLC, about her personal experience both as a lactation consultant and as a parent.
They discuss:
• what colostrum harvesting can involve before birth
• how much milk can realistically be expressed
• what Natalie’s own experience looked like
From a few drops to measurable amounts, this conversation offers a real example of how it can vary.

Your pumping journey might be winding down, but your Spectra pump still has a lot of life left in it 🤍
Through our Pump It Up! Program, we collect gently used Spectra pumps, pair them with brand-new kits, and pass them along to families who need a little help getting started. Because it's a closed-system pump, it's completely safe to share, and in 2025 alone that meant 222 pumps found their way home with new parents.
If your pump is no longer in use, you have the option to donate it and give another family the same support that carried you through. Reach out to us and we'll walk you through where and how to drop it off.

We’ve gathered mental health resources for parents and families looking for additional support, guidance, and care.
You are never alone, and asking for help is a sign of strength. 🤍

No manual. No warning label. No roadmap. 🤍
Just you, figuring it out one day at a time and still making it work.
