Gratitude post!
230 pounds of non perishables collected during the Yardley Borough Memorial Day Parade from all of you fabulous folks were donated to veterans. Did you know 1 in 4 veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars suffer from food insecurity?
Great work, Yardley Boro! Can we make it 500 pounds next year?

Our annual non-perishable food collection for veterans will move from our Christmas Parade to our Memorial Day Parade. Please bring canned items (and other non-perishables) to the parade.
LOOK FOR THE SIGN SHOWN BELOW at the back of the parade, as part of our bike procession, you will see me and my helpers with bikes and shopping carts collecting the food items.
Thanks to ShopRite for the use of their shopping carts!
As part of this change, there will be a new charitable cause during our Christmas Parade.
Thank you for your support!

Super fun to spend time with the masterful Susan Taylor today! Did you know borough hall served as a kindergarten classroom for 4 years to serve the baby boom until a fire in the post office forced their relocation to Yardley Elementary on W. College.
