This annual initiative recognizes Pennsylvania hospitals that increase organ donation awareness through staff trainings, registration drives, community events, and public education during Donate Life Month.

We are so proud that Penn Medicine, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center were recognized for their incredible efforts to build a true culture of donation. Congratulations to our Penn Transplant team for their great work!

This was my third or fourth time representing the team at the Media 5 mile race! Even though I went solo this year, I was proud to cover one of our team shirts in sweat 😥 while I train for next year’s Narberth run! I’m glad I got to represent not just our team but also Penn in my hometown again!

“Nurses are the heart of health care” ♥️ Happy nurses week to all the health care heroes that are trying to make a difference everyday! 🦸‍♀️ It is such an incredible honor and privilege to work as a nurse, and I am so very grateful to work among such an amazing crew of people who I look up to and admire on a regular basis! Thank you 🙏 to all the nurses out there who have taught me, inspired me, and put up with me when I’m struggling at work. I truly appreciate you all more than you can know! 🌟

The Matt McCloskey Memorial Narberth run is complete, and it was another great outcome for our team helping to support such an amazing cause for the Take A Breather Foundation! 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ We are incredibly honored and proud to announce that we came in as the second highest fundraising group! 🎖️ We wanted to take this opportunity to shout out everyone who donated and participated in this year’s run! It’s impossible to put into words how thankful 🙏 and grateful we are for your support! 👊 We truly appreciate you! We had another very successful year for the Matt McCloskey Memorial Run! More to be posted about that soon. But in the meantime we still need to address another critical issue that impacts the heart of everyone…the environment. 🌍 Check out this quick interview I gave during the earth day creek clean up at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge At Tinicum. I have a lot of questions around why we are letting such destruction take place, but for now I’ll just ask, Do I really sound like that?
