At this Formal City Council Meeting, I was, as Mayor Kate Gallego said, "the final speaker of the calendar year!" In the 3-minute Citizen Comment, I spoke on "The Life Legacies of Rumain Brisbon, Honored on the 10th Year of His Remembrance." At the end of this 2-hour and 45-minute meeting at MINUTE MARKER 2:40:25, I said, "We will continue to honor you, Rumain, as per the proclamation for a 'Day of Unity through Racial and Communal Healing,' by working together 'to maintain communities in which every citizen has the opportunity to thrive' and, as conciliated citizens, by earnestly striving 'to ensure the best quality of life for every child.' Rest in Peace"
