Happening this morning, Saturday, Oct 12! A wonderful (and free!) community event celebrating our beautiful Native American community!
Our own Jason Coochwytewa will co-emcee the 37th annual Native American Connections Parade, a Native American Recognition Days event. The parade begins at 9am on 3rd St. and Oak in Phoenix, and travels north on 3rd St. to Indian School Road. The judges stand and emcees will be located on 3rd St. and Earll.

Managing Partner Lisa Urias spoke to AZ Business Magazine about the importance of Latinos to the Arizona’s economy:
“There are two areas where Latinos have the greatest impact on Arizona’s business community: workforce and consumer spending. Latinos are entering and graduating from colleges and universities in higher rates than ever before. Businesses won’t be able to grow without this critical segment as part of their workforce.”

Today we visited the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute to learn about the new services they offer to the Hispanic community in Arizona, the US and internationally. Patients at MAPC were repurposing trash bags to stimulate hand movement.
