Our own Jason Coochwytewa will co-emcee the 37th annual Native American Connections Parade, a Native American Recognition Days event. The parade begins at 9am on 3rd St. and Oak in Phoenix, and travels north on 3rd St. to Indian School Road. The judges stand and emcees will be located on 3rd St. and Earll.

Today we visited the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute to learn about the new services they offer to the Hispanic community in Arizona, the US and internationally. Patients at MAPC were repurposing trash bags to stimulate hand movement.

In the wake of the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings, our Managing Partner, Lisa Urias, calls on public officials to take action to prevent future gun massacres.

Shame on public officials doing nothing to stop violence and hate Shame on leaders doing nothing, allowing people to buy military assault-style weapons freely, spew hate and kill innocent people.
