🚒 Pipestone Fire Department Fireman’s Dance! 💃🕺

Just a reminder that the Pipestone Fire Department will be going door-to-door selling tickets for our dance starting Monday, October 5th at 5:30 PM and continuing through the evening of Wednesday, October 7th.

🎟️ Tickets are just $10!

🎶 This year’s Fireman’s Dance is Saturday, October 10th, starting at 9:00 PM!
🎸 IV Play will be playing, so come out, enjoy a great night with friends, and support your local firefighters!

🚒🔥 TRAINING • LEARNING • PREPARING 🔥🚒

Four of our firefighters recently headed to Balaton for some hands-on fire training and the Southwest Regional Fire Association meeting!

Three of our firefighters took part in tractor rollover training, learning and practicing techniques to safely and effectively respond when farm equipment is involved in an emergency. 🚜🔥

Our fourth firefighter focused on pump operations, sharpening the skills needed to get water flowing and keep our crews supplied when it matters most. 💦🚒

Training like this helps us stay prepared for the wide variety of calls we may face in our community. We’re always looking for opportunities to learn, train, and improve so we can better serve the people of our area!

We are honored to be a part of such a special day and event!

A 9-11 golf outing is underway at the Pipestone Country Club. Jeff Douty spoke about the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and played an audio clip of Pres. George W. Bush from that day before participants and local emergency responders headed outside for a photo beneath the flag. Funds will be raised for the Pipestone Veterans Memorial during the event.

Today we remember September 11, 2001, and the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day. We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and civilians who made the ultimate sacrifice, and we remember the courage and selflessness shown by so many.
