Pleasant Hills Summer Rec Registration opens on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 8:00am.
Some important things to remember:
Summer Recreation registration will be open from 5/4/2026-6/12/2026 and
Summer Recreation will commence 6/22/2026-8/4/2026.
THERE IS NO CAP ON REGISTRATION
Some Reminders for Summer Rec 2026:
Summer Rec will run from 6/22/2026-8/4/2026
Hours are from 9:00 am until Noon, Monday through Friday.
Age groups are 5-12. You have to be 5 years old before June 22, 2026 to register.
During Recreation, children aged 5-8 will report to Pleasant Kingdom and children aged 9-12 will report to Mowry Park.
Costs are $75 for the first child, $65 for the second and $55 for subsequent children.
Registration and payment will be ONLINE ONLY.
When uploading your "proof of residency" documents, one document MUST be a driver's license/state ID that has a Pleasant Hills address and the other must be a mortgage statement or utility bill with the same address as your driver's license.
NO late registrations will be accepted.
You MUST be a resident of Pleasant Hills to register.

Pleasant Hills Police Now Hiring
PLEASANT HILLS BOROUGH MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for employment as a Police Officer with the Borough of Pleasant Hills, applicants must meet all of the following minimum standards:
Age • Must be at least 21 years old at the time of appointment. Education • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
Act 120 Certification • All applicants shall be eligible to be certified by Act 120 by date of hire or enrolled in a PA Academy at the time of hire.
Citizenship • Must be a United States citizen.
Driver’s License • Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
Written Examination • Must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the written test.
Physical & Psychological Fitness • Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer as determined by
physical and psychological testing.
Appearance Standards• No visible tattoos, branding, and body piercings are permitted above the neckline or below the wrist line of the arms.
APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Applications must be received no later than 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Schedule:
• Registration: 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM
• Physical Agility Test: 9:00 AM
• Written Examination: Immediately following physical agility test
A government-issued photo ID is required.
