When school is in session, many children rely on it for a dependable meal each day. When summer begins, that support disappears.

The Salvation Army helps fill that gap by providing meals, groceries, and food support so children can continue to have reliable access to food beyond the school year.

Because no child should have to worry about where their next meal will come from. 🍽️

Thank you, Michael Brothers Companies, for supporting WTAE's project Bundle-Up, year-after-year! This generosity ensures children and older adults across Western Pennsylvania have the gear they need to endure the cold winter months!

We’re proud to support WTAE's project Bundle-Up again this year through our Holiday Light Recycling Program.

Thanks to the generosity of our community in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas, more than 12,000 pounds of used and old holiday lights were recycled through our program this past year. Because of those donations, Michael Brothers was able to present a donation of $8,005.92 to Project Bundle-Up, helping provide warm winter clothing for children and seniors in the Pittsburgh area!

We collect holiday lights year-round at all four of our facilities, and this fall, we’ll once again be placing collection stands throughout communities in the Pittsburgh area.

Bring us your old lights, help keep them out of the landfill, and support a cause that helps keep our neighbors warm!
