October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month when we celebrate survivors and honor those we’ve lost. As you know, my family was personally affected by breast cancer several years ago when my beautiful wife Connie, who has since passed away, was diagnosed and bravely conquered this dreadful disease.

Almost 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer. Early detection is key and can increase the chances of surviving breast cancer. Find resources here: https://www.pabreastcancer.org/find-help/patient-resources/

On this Patriot Day, we remember all of the lives taken on September 11, 2001, and honor the selfless acts of heroism displayed that day and in the aftermath of the unconscionable attacks on this country and our innocent citizens. I continue to keep the families of those who lost their lives on 9/11 in my prayers as we must never forget them.
