What a wonderful evening! We were so very proud to receive the Beacon Award at the Green Building Alliance's Emerald Evening Gala held on May 14th! The beautiful wood plaque reads as follows: Etna Borough, Beacon Award! "For creating a vibrant and resilient community through thoughtful and forward-thinking collaboration". Projects highlighted were our stormwater work, the Etna Riverfront Trail and Park and the Etna Community Organization's soon to open Etna Center for Community". We were honored to celebrate together, this wonderful community!

Pittsburgh Regional Transit is having a "Pop-up Event" in Etna on Thursday, May 21, 11AM - 2PM. Under the leadership of Chief Timothy Rodman, our officers are on the ground every day—patrolling our neighborhoods, monitoring our parks, and working to keep Etna safe and welcoming.
We cannot do this vital work alone. Our strength comes from the trust, vigilance, and support of our neighbors.
