This election season, we've seen some interesting mailings claiming that the three PA Supreme Court judges up for retention were the ones responsible for gerrymandering Pennsylvania's maps.

As a matter of fact, those three judges were instrumental in giving PA a new House map in 2018, one that was much more fair, and which served as the basis for the current map, which features multiple competitive districts.

Take a look at the Congressional map that PA had in the early 2010s. Besides looking terrible, it purposefully carved up communities all across PA to weaken their voice in Congress. The current map, in contrast, splits fewer counties, and is a highly responsive map to the will of voters.
