Competitive Powerlifting The Pittsburgh Monster Meet is a Bench Press and Deadlifting competition that is held annually every spring in Moon Township ,PA.

BREAKING NEWS !!!

After much consideration, we are seriously considering bringing back the PITTSBURGH MONSTER MEET for ONE last run. The 25th Anniversary Pittsburgh Monster Meet would be (tentative) on April 7, 2024. (Yes, two years from now). We will only do it again if we can secure the Pittsburgh Airport Hyatt which we are currently in discussions with. If we do this, we want to do it right, pull out all of the stops and make it the biggest one EVER. Before we pull the trigger, sign the contract and make it official, I would like some feedback to know if this is something people (lifters) are still interested in doing.

My highlight of the day was being able to honor these TRUE HEROES, Pittsburgh SWAT Officers Timothy Matson and Anthony Burke whose bravery, courage and determination no doubt saved countless live in the horrific Tree Of Life Synagogue shooting last October. These two Officers were the toughest guys in the building yesterday. So much respect for both of them.
