Great opportunity for Shaler Area seniors!

Hi friends!

We're back with another year of scholarship money for Shaler Area seniors! We will award $1,000 scholarships at the end of this academic year to three Shaler Area students going to college or into a vocational/skilled trade. At least one award will be reserved for a vocational student if there is a qualified applicant. Political affiliation is not a factor; this is open to all of our high school seniors.

Shaler DPW is out in full force clearing all of the roadways during this storm, but the snow has been relentless the past few hours!

Our officers have responded to multiple crashes this afternoon. Please stay off of the roadways if possible!

The Shaler Township Police Department is once again collecting new, unwrapped toys for Stuff-A-Store and Presents From Police from now until Wednesday, December 17th!

Drop off toys during regular business hours at the Police Station, Township Building, or Shaler North Hills Library. (Or feel free to give them to any officers you see on patrol!)

Cherry City VFC and Undercliff VFC will also be collecting toys during their BINGOs this week! (Thursday Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company, Friday Undercliff Volunteer Fire Company)

Elfinwild Fire Company will be collecting as well during their Visit Santa event on Tuesday, December 16th!
