Today, four MCEMS ambulances are fully staffed and serving communities across Mason County! 👏

And there’s more good news: we've received five new LIFEPAK 15 4th-generation patient monitors, the newest generation of this critical medical technology, with an expected service life of 10–12 years. This new equipment replaces patient monitors which reached the end of their serviceable life.

Through HealthNet Aeromedical Services’ group purchasing agreement, the monitors were obtained at a reduced cost, saving Mason Countians approximately $200,000.

We also had a great time participating in Nucor's community fair today alongside fellow community partners like Marshall Health Network - Rivers Health and even Marco! 🚑

We’re incredibly grateful to Jackson County EMS for donating two 2018 Dodge diesel ambulances to our fleet.

Both ambulances are currently being outfitted with supplies, new branding, and new radios. They’ll be going into service soon, helping us continue caring for our neighbors throughout the county. 🤍

Within a professional EMS organization, clinical excellence is expected.

Using both written examinations and high-fidelity human simulation software and equipment, Medical Director Collin Smith, DO and HealthNet Aeromedical Services educators are currently conducting detailed performance assessments of each Mason County EMS clinician.

This annual process establishes baseline education and support needs, assuring the best possible care for patients.

Earlier this week, several of our crew joined Marshall Health Network in the ribbon cutting for the new ER at Rivers Health!
