When the unexpected happens, first responders answer the call.

On National First Responders Day, we recognize the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, dispatchers, search-and-rescue teams, and other public safety professionals who help protect visitors, communities, and the places we all treasure. Their work reminds us that behind every safe return, every emergency response, and every helping hand is someone ready to serve when it matters most.
To all first responders, in Vermont and beyond: thank you for your service, your courage, and your commitment to others.

Tuesday night training update. This week members practiced on structure fire assignments. Engine 3 was our first due engine and carried 2 attack fire fighters an officer and a driver/pump operator. Engine 2 served as our second due engine and provided a supply of water to Engine 3. We practiced how to properly pull lines off the apparatus and how to connect multiple trucks for water supply as well as managing the pump panel. This was a great hands on training for all members, keeping them up to date on their skills. 🚨WE ARE STILL IN HIGH FIRE DANGER, WHICH MEANS NO BURN PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE🚨
