Community Warehouse Community Warehouse is your local nonprofit furniture bank, turning empty houses into comfy homes.

We have a chance to buy nearly 1,300 pillows for just $2 each, but we need to raise $2,586 by the end of this week to make it happen!

Clean bed pillows are one of the hardest items for us to keep stocked at our furniture banks, and this deal would help us stretch every donated dollar further.

Just $2 provides a neighbor with a brand-new pillow. Could you give $2, $20, or whatever you can to help us reach our goal?

The rainy season is here! 🌧️ Rather than leaving your usable furniture on the curb to get ruined, donate it to Community Warehouse so a neighbor entering stable housing can enjoy it for years to come.

Limited Time Offer: Book a standard donation pickup for a sofa or loveseat and save $25!

A quick reminder: If you're bringing a donation in a truck or trailer on a rainy day, please cover it with a tarp. We’re unable to accept furniture with water damage. Thank you for helping us keep donations in great shape for their next home!

Did you know that donations to Community Warehouse help furnish homes for neighbors entering stable housing?

One of our furniture bank clients recently shared these photos and a message with us:

“Recently I exited homelessness, and with help from Community Warehouse I now have furniture in my new apartment. My son and I especially are enjoying our new red leather couch and our sizeable coffee table. The table I picked out is just the right size for my son and I, and I'm quite taken with the pattern. Lastly, I was able to get myself a large bed. As you can see, I'm aiming for a teal/ocean theme.”

Drop off gently-used furniture or household items at our Portland, Gresham, or Tigard furniture banks, or schedule a pickup online. Your donations help make a furnished home possible for more neighbors in our community!

Promotion alert! For a limited time only, book a standard donation pickup for a sofa or loveseat and save $25 (applied upon acceptance). We tend to see a dip in donations this time of year, and we need your help to provide our neighbors with comfy couches for their homes! Send this to post to three friends who might have a sofa to spare 🛋️

Pickups are scheduled roughly 2-3 business days in advance. Book online at communitywarehouse.org.

25 stories for 25 years. 🏠 Sometimes Warehouse Magic comes full circle in the most unexpected ways.

Mich, a former staff member and longtime superstar volunteer, and Executive Director Anna recount a story from a number of years ago, when the two of them went out to dinner and a night of comedy. After plenty of laughter, they hopped in an Uber to head home.

Anna mentioned that she worked at Community Warehouse.

“Community Warehouse?!” their driver exclaimed. “I got my furniture from there!”

The driver told them that, until recently, she had been sleeping in the same car they were riding in. She had recently secured housing, gotten an appointment at the furniture bank, and picked out a white couch and other pieces that helped make her new place feel like home.

For 25 years, Community Warehouse has helped furnish homes for more than 125,000 neighbors. Chances are, if you haven’t received furniture from us yourself, someone you know has.

Here’s to 25 years of stories, connections, and a community that keeps showing up for one another. ❤️

A big thank you to the team from Logical Position for spending time volunteering with us!

Their group helped put together kitchen essentials and write kind messages for Welcome Home Kits, quality check towels, and assemble towel sets for neighbors moving into furnished homes.

We’re grateful for the time, care, and attention they put into this work. Thanks for helping us turn donated items into comfort, dignity, and a welcoming place to call home!
