Vote4Cassi I'm Cassi, running for District 3 BOE. I have kids entering the system now, and I'm driven by data daily.

As a mom of biracial children and a neurodivergent parent, I advocate for inclusive schools where every child belongs. My name is Cassi, and I'm running for District 3 of Montgomery County’s Board of Education because I believe our community deserves leadership that truly understands what it’s like to have their children entering the school system – someone who “gets it” and is committed to making informed decisions based on data and compassion, every day.

I have been a bit MIA this week, the Cornell and LSU stories hit very close to home and I've been taking care of myself as needed.

Many others are feeling the same rage, disgust, and heartbreak and let's be honest, exhaustion. Just know you are not alone.

WE'RE GOING TO NOVEMBER! 🎉🙌💜

I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Because of YOU, I'm headed to the general election for the MCPS Board of Education District 3 seat. 🗳️✨

To everyone who shared a post, placed a sign, wrote a check, cast a vote, or simply believed in this campaign, THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart. This is your win too. 💛

This race is far from over, and honestly? I am just getting started. Between now and November, I will keep showing up, keep listening, and keep fighting for the students and families of MoCO.

Every child deserves a school system that sees them, supports them, and prepares them for the future they deserve. 🌟

If you're with me, let's get to work. 🙋‍♀️ Share this post, stay connected, and let's bring A Voice for Every Family all the way to the Board of Education.

Student journalists at every single MCPS high school are standing up for their right to report freely, and they deserve our backing.

In March, MCPS Chief of Schools Dr. Peter Moran sent principals a memo requiring administrators to review and approve every article before a student newspaper can print it. On June 12, 162 student journalists and newspaper advisers from all 25 high schools sent an open letter asking the district to walk it back, pointing to Maryland's New Voices Act, the law written specifically to keep school officials out of student newsrooms except in narrow, well-defined cases.

WTOP has the full story, including MCPS's response: https://wtop.com/montgomery-county/2026/06/student-journalists-in-montgomery-county-push-back-on-district-memo-citing-censorship-concerns/

As a candidate for the Board of Education in District 3, I keep coming back to one question: who is this policy actually protecting? Not the students learning to ask hard questions. Not the families who rely on student reporters to find out what's happening inside our schools. A free, board-approved student press is one of the few checks we have on how our schools are run, and it shouldn't be optional.

If you agree, the students have a petition asking MCPS to withdraw the memo. Read it, sign it, share it: https://www.change.org/p/stop-mcps-from-censoring-student-journalists-fd94e230-b95c-440d-917b-76596895e941

Proud to be running for MCPS Board of Education, District 3 in the 2026 Primary!

As a mom of an incoming kindergartner, a data technology professional, and a longtime community advocate, I know what's at stake for our kids and our schools.

I'm running to bring real accountability, transparent budgeting, and decisions grounded in data, not politics, to Montgomery County Public Schools.

If you believe our schools deserve better, share this and help spread the word. Election Day is June 23!

Friends & Neighbors! We're in the final stretch and I need a favor please.

If you're in MoCo (or know someone who is), here are two quick things that would mean a lot to me:

1) Go to ActiVote at https://activote.app/MdB7EglwR3b and set me as your preferred candidate for Board of Education, District 3.

2) Share my virtual lawn sign on your page or your favorite local group.

That second one matters more than people realize. Every share puts my name in front of more neighbors before June 23, and word of mouth is how local races get won. If you've ever told me you're voting for me, this is the easiest way to make that support visible to others too.

Thank you for being in this with me. Every share counts.
