Make sure you're celebrating New York Cider week with New York Cider Association !

Tonight at 7 p.m., visit Dennings Point Distillery for a collaboration with Treasury Cider of Fishkill Farms: a curated evening of apple-based beverages and conversation, set in one of the country's most historic and expressive apple-growing regions.

Moderated by Scott Ramsey, Executive Director of the New York Cider Association, the evening brings together distiller Dan Fenyo of Denning's Point Distillery and cidermaker Chris Jackson of Treasury Cider at Fishkill Farms to explore how Hudson Valley apples are transformed through fermentation and distillation into a spectrum of refined beverages. Through tasting and conversation, guests will explore the relationship between cider, apple brandy, and pommeau; how fermentation and distillation create fundamentally different expressions from the same fruit; and why apple-based beverages are gaining renewed attention among chefs, sommeliers, and curious drinkers.

Then, follow it up with a morning yoga session at Fishkill Farms for their Sip N' Stretch event at 11 a.m. on their covered wrap-around porch. Breathe in the fresh morning air and take in the scenic spring views of the fields and freshly bloomed fruit trees.
