🚨FAKE NEWS FRIDAY | EP11🚨

I, along with many others, am absolutely exhausted from hearing the Democrats complain about the cost of living and what they profess to do to help working families.

Anyone who lives in this state knows that JB Pritzker and the Democrats tax us on just about everything. High gas taxes, high property taxes, digital advertising taxes, social media taxes, the list goes on.

Governor Pritzker knows that every tax and fee his administration implements doesn’t simply disappear. Those costs eventually make their way down to the consumer, and working families are the ones left paying the bill.

Perhaps if we started taxing JB Pritzker every time he mentioned President Trump, our state would be in a much better financial situation!

I’ve just been informed that the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability will be hosting a public forum regarding the planned closure of the Du Quoin Impact Program.

The forum will be held on Wednesday, October 21, at 5:00 p.m.

I strongly encourage anyone who has concerns about this planned closure to attend the forum and make your voice heard. You may also submit written testimony if you are unable to attend.

The unethical and corrupt Champaign County Clerk Aaron Ammons, who also happens to be facing federal charges for conspiracy and obstruction related to corruption involving his wife, Rep. Carol Ammons, recently had 600 ballots misprinted under HIS watch, with at least 60 of those ballots reportedly cast with errors!!

Clerk Ammons was also cited in 2020 for counting votes too early. Perhaps he should have resigned a long time ago. He has repeatedly demonstrated that he is incompetent and cannot perform his job duties and responsibilities.

He should be removed from office or resign immediately to protect the integrity of our elections!

Yesterday, I sent my letter to the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board formally requesting that they hold a public hearing on the changes at Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center.

Anyone affected by this outrageous proposal should have the opportunity to participate in the public hearing process.

If you would like to help us save Choate and demand a public hearing, you can also submit your own request to the Review Board by October 13!

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is now accepting applications for the FY27 Small Equipment Grant Program. Departments can apply for up to $50,000 to help purchase firefighting and ambulance equipment.

Last year, over $164,000 in grant dollars was returned to the 115th through the OSFM. I highly encourage any eligible departments in our district to take advantage of this opportunity.

For those who aren’t aware, October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Both of these national observances are an opportunity to raise awareness, stay informed about the risks and warning signs of breast cancer, and educate our communities about domestic violence and how we can work together to promote prevention efforts.

Before the 2030 Census, President Trump must nominate a qualified Director to lead the Census Bureau and make sure we don’t have a repeat of 2020.

For too long now, Democrats have rolled out the red carpet for illegal immigrants, funneled them into places like Cook County, and then want those individuals counted when determining representation.

No illegal immigrant should be allowed to affect the representation of Americans in our country. We cannot afford another Census without accurate data on who is being counted.

H.R. 1033 simply calls for accurate Census data and a comprehensive review of the 2020 Census.
