This club was disbanded in 2015. The page administrator passed away and Facebook will not allow me to delete the page since we have no administrator.

07/18/2017

This Club was disbanded in September 2015 due to lack of interest and attendance. Because the administrator is now deceased, there is no way I can deactivate the site. At least no way Facebook has communicated to me. Thank you for your interest.

09/24/2015

I am sorry to announce that by a unanimous vote of the 11 members present, the Club has been voted out of existence due to lack of attendance and participation. This is the old Dallas County North Republican Club. The members voted also to donate any remaining funds to the Richardson Republican Women.

09/17/2015

There will be a business meeting of the Club to which all are invited to see what can be done to boost attendance, which has averaged 12-15 for the past year. It seems a shame to have this Club fade away just as we are starting into the big election year. Remember, this is the old Dallas County North Republican Club, which was in existence for decades. We MUST stay organized and involved, or we are lost. Please come with your ideas and solutions.

TIME AND LOCATION: Wednesday, September 23, 6:30 pm at Fish Shack 2 located at 1840 N Plano Rd. it's on the southeast corner of Plano rd & Campbell Rd.
We will be in a private room. You can order dinner, but it's not required.

Dan Morenoff is the founder and executive director of the Equal Voting Rights Institute, a public interest law firm with the mission of redeeming the Voting Rights Act’s case law, restoring every Americans' voting rights, and assuring that those rights remain equally protected for us all. On Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, EVRI filed its first suit, seeking to protect the local, out-of-favor racial minority in Dallas County from a commissioners’ court map that slices and dices it between districts to deny it the chance to fairly compete in the political process. Before founding EVRI, Dan ran the local Lawyers’ Chapter of the Federalist Society for 4 years and, briefly, explored running for Congress in a seat that was never created. Further back, Dan’s previous experiences run from leading the only Conservative newspaper in Manhattan while in college and leading the University of Chicago’s Conservative debating society during law school; to a year working with an advocacy group on entitlement reform and a few year stint on Senator Phil Gramm’s legislative staff working on the same. He’s also currently the President of the Republican Jewish Coalition’s North Texas Chapter.
