NEWS: The River Falls Police Department has completed its ongoing evaluation of Flock Safety's transparency, contractual practices, and customer support service. The result of that review is a plan to discontinue use of the cameras and technology system in full.

While the technology has contributed to investigative successes, Chief of Police Gordon Young has indicated that the internal review created a loss of confidence in Flock Safety as a service provider.

HEADS UP: WM (Waste Management) will once again start replacing any broken or non-WM branded bins with new WM-branded bins this week. A box truck will accompany one of the collection routes each Thursday to remove and replace bins once they have been serviced and are empty.

This process will take approximately six weeks to complete. Please leave your non-WM branded bins out until 6 p.m. on Thursdays as they work to replace them. Thank you for your patience in their process.
