This April, SDG&E® customers will receive a $32.58 natural gas credit on their utility bill, identified as the California Climate Credit. Funded through the State’s Cap-and-Invest Program, the credit returns money paid by polluters to customers while supporting California’s transition to a cleaner energy future. Electric California Climate Credits will be provided to eligible customers and, to support affordability, are being applied during higher-bill months, with all residential customers receiving their electric credit later in 2026. Eligible Small Business customers will still receive the Small Business Climate Credit in April and October, in the amount of $49.36.
