We're proud to share our new Choice Pantry model with the Rochester community. This newly-expanded resource addresses food insecurity in our region by providing a dignified experience with more options and consistency.

Yesterday we officially cut the ribbon on our new, expanded choice pantry. This innovative model provides more options, while reducing waste, helping us better fight hunger insecurity in the Greater Rochester community.

Thank you to Hamilton Stern Construction, LLC for overseeing the build-out that more than triples the size of our previous pantry, and to Dr. Shirley Green from the City of Rochester, NY for sharing this special day with us. The organization said the pantry has tripled in size to more than 600 square feet and will allow visitors to select from a wider variety of foods, rather than receiving a standardized package.

Salvation Army and Advantage FCU launched a donation drive for Clarkson fire victims. Fourteen fire companies responded and pets were rescued. Aid forms are being processed as investigators probe the cause.

We are excited to announce that our new choice food pantry will be officially opening on Monday, September 14th. This concept provides our clients with the opportunity to select their individual food items from a variety of enhanced options.

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped us collect school supplies this past Saturday to support our annual "Stuff the Bus" campaign.

Thank you also to all of the wonderful Walmart shoppers who purchased and donated school supplies to help us provide back-to-school backpacks for Rochester-area school children!
