Breanna turned the experience she gained through into a job at . Her success began with a year of hands-on learning through the program, a partnership between The Jewish Home and the Employment Alliance for people ages 18 to 35 with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

For Breanna, Project SEARCH® offered more than work experience. It supported her in building skills and confidence that she connects directly to being hired. "During my time at Project SEARCH®, I learned skills to manage my emotions as I worked during my internships. I also learned the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and how not to take things personally,” she said.

One internship proved especially meaningful for Breanna. “I learned how to set up supplies for the resident classes, transport residents and assist during the art therapy sessions. After I completed the Project SEARCH® program, I interviewed and was hired at the Jewish Home as an art therapy rec assistant."

The Heritage Christian Services grief support team hosted Let Your Love Glow: A Night of Remembrance — a beautiful evening dedicated to honoring the lives of those we have loved, lost and continue to hold dearly in our hearts. 🙏💕

Through every name spoken and memory shared, we were reminded that those we have lost are never truly gone. They live on in the stories we tell, the traditions we carry forward and the love that continues to illuminate our lives.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their hearts and helped make the evening so meaningful.
