Nearly three decades of data show school closures are more tied to broader enrollment and demographic trends than school choice.

Together, these honors represent an extraordinary milestone for Arkansas Arts Academy—recognition across our entire K–12 educational experience!

At AAA, we believe rigorous academics and meaningful arts integration go hand in hand. Through Artful Learning, we connect creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and hands-on learning to academic achievement.

We am immensely proud of our educators, students, families, and community partners who make this possible every day. These recognitions are more than rankings. They reflect our commitment to creating an educational environment where students are challenged academically, encouraged creatively, and supported as individuals.

As Arkansas's only tuition-free, arts-integrated public charter district serving PreK–12 students, we continue to demonstrate that the arts are not an addition to a quality education—they are an essential part of it.

One Academy. One Vision. Excellence Across K–12.

Congratulations to our entire Arkansas Arts Academy community!

This week, students from the 6th grade elementary art classes had the opportunity to participate in a workshop at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Linda Lopez is the current artist-in-residence at the Museum and is providing 4 workshops this fall for schools in Northwest Arkansas. AAA was fortunate to have participated in two; students from Joy Price’s and Aaron Jones’ elementary art classes.
The 6th grade students visited the newly opened studios at the museum, where Ms. Lopez introduced them to her work as well as the collaborative project they would create in clay. Students were asked to come up with a Big Picture theme, something that everyone could relate to, and create a small piece to assemble for a larger composition. The students elected on FOOD! Ms. Lopez then modeled the clay techniques to create their individual sculptures. Once the mini-foodie clay forms were sculpted, students attached them to a base form created by Ms. Lopez. The finished work will be fired, glazed, and then on display at the Museum at the school’s AAA Night @ the Museum event on Thursday, November 19th from 5:40- 8:00 pm.
Thank you to Crystal Bridges Museum and Linda Lopez for the wonderful opportunity to create a collaborative work of art!
