๐ธ Flipping back the pages to understand why we capture today! ๐โจ
Our yearbook team recently visited the Rosendale Historical Society, and it was such an eye-opening experience for everyone. Spending time surrounded by decades of archives, old photos, and preserved memories really put their work into perspective.
Students learned that documenting history isnโt just about saving old pictures. Itโs about preserving human stories, capturing the spirit of a moment, and giving future generations a window into who we were. Students were able to review a variety of old yearbooks, with some dating back to 1923! ๐
Every page they design and every photo they take for this yearโs book isnโt just for today. Itโs a piece of history in the making!
A huge thank you to Emajean Westphal and Celesta Griffiths at the Rosendale Historical Society for inspiring our students to tell their schoolโs story with even more purpose! ๐๐
