Join us for Sacramento’s HBCU Network Home for the Holidays Mixer on Saturday, Dec. 21 in Sacramento, CA!

This mixer is open to everyone in the HBCU network, but we especially want to invite high school Juniors and Seniors and their parents so they can hear about our HBCU experiences.

Shout out to Dr. Rowe, founder of .. visiting his alma mater this morning - , and bringing the annual HBCU College Fair Tour to campus.

As the founder of Sacramento’s HBCU Network () it was absolutely wonderful to see Dr. Rowe & on campus. UCAN helped recruit me my first HBCU several years ago, through the help of Ms. Karen Compton. 🫶🏾 Allthough I am not actively helping to recruit students as a recruiter with UCAN, I will always push HBCUs, especially in Sacramento! ❤️

As a teacher at Grant 💙💛, I often talk to my classes about HBCUs and my experiences at Tuskegee and Morehouse School of Medicine. My students are very familiar with Tuskegee, as many of them are hoping to go to an HBCU one day! 🤞🏾

I feel very blessed to see Dr. Rowe walk on this campus and still bring HBCUs to Sacramento 35 years & counting!
