At the 54th Annual Salud! Business Awards, we honored the contributions of Hispanic businesses & community leaders.

Last week at the SALUD! Business Awards, we had the opportunity to recognize someone who has truly been the heart of our community work.

Our President & CEO, Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, honored Jessy Flores for her incredible 5 years as a SACHCC promotora. Jessy has been out in the community every day, walking the Northgate corridor, visiting small businesses, building trust, and connecting entrepreneurs to the resources they need to grow.

As last week also marked her final day with us, we want to thank Jessy for her dedication, her care for our business community, and the relationships she’s built along the way.

Over the past 10 years, our growing Pink Team of volunteers, supporters, and community partners has helped make a remarkable difference:
📌 305 grants awarded totaling more than $430,000 in direct financial assistance
📌 A record 51 grant awards being presented this year for needs like medical care, rent, and groceries
📌 Hundreds of professionally led workshops, support groups, and retreats
📌 Programs offered at no cost — including Mentoring Pink, Granting Pink, and Partnering Pink
📌 The launch of ProspeROSA in 2021, bringing language-concordant support to our Spanish-speaking neighbors
