We turned into a cinematic listening room.

Soft lighting, intimate energy, and a crowd fully locked into the music — the kind of night that reminds you live experiences hit different when they feel personal.

Beautiful space. Incredible artists. Unforgettable atmosphere.

Some venues aren’t discovered , they’re felt. 📸

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all of our families, especially those who have lost a loved one who served in our military. Schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

It’s starting to feel like summer. Looking forward to more Sacramento outings at the Ballpark or by the river. Big love to Brian Peck and the community schools team and the good people at the Sacramento River Cats for giving our young scholars these opportunities.

When systems shut down, our community steps up.
But the truth is, families shouldn’t have to struggle to meet basic needs — especially when it comes to feeding our kids.

Food insecurity gets in the way of student success, and as your Trustee Im committed to keeping our students healthy, strong, and ready to learn. If your family is experiencing food insecurity right now, please know you are not alone — and support is available.

Here are resources to help:

Free School Meals
Every SCUSD student has access to FREE breakfast and lunch every school day — no paperwork, no questions. Make sure your student arrives on time for breakfast (served 30 minutes before school starts). A full stomach fuels a full future.
