Students across FCUSD celebrated important promotion milestones last week surrounded by proud families, supportive staff, and cheering school communities. From preschool classrooms to middle school campuses, these ceremonies marked exciting new beginnings and the close of memorable chapters.

The smiles, hugs, applause, and joyful moments captured throughout the District reflected the hard work, growth, and perseverance of our students as they prepare for what comes next.

430 Cordova High School graduates crossed the stage last Friday evening surrounded by cheering families, supportive friends, and the unwavering pride of the Cordova community. The evening was filled with smiles, applause, happy tears, and unforgettable moments as the newest Lancers celebrated the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

To the Class of 2026: congratulations on this incredible achievement. Your hard work, perseverance, and resilience brought you to this milestone moment, and your future is bright.

𝐅𝐂𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫

The FCUSD Food Services Department will once again offer meals at no cost to families to children and teens through the USDA Seamless Summer Feeding Program this summer.

From June 3 through July 16, 2026, children ages 2 through 18 can receive healthy meals at no cost to families, Monday through Friday at participating FCUSD school sites. Breakfast will be served from 8:00–8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m. Meals must be consumed on site.

No meals will be served on Friday, June 19, or Friday, July 3.
Meal service locations include:

• Cordova Meadows Elementary School — 2550 La Loma Drive, Rancho Cordova
• Cordova Villa Elementary School — 10359 S. White Rock Road, Rancho Cordova
• Cordova Lane Center — 2460 Cordova Lane, Rancho Cordova (site closes June 24)
• Mather Heights Elementary School — 4370 School Road, Mather
• Navigator Elementary School — 10679 Bear Hollow Drive, Rancho Cordova (site closes July 1)
• Rancho Cordova Elementary School — 2562 Chassella Way, Rancho Cordova
• Riverview STEM Academy — 10700 Ambassador Drive, Rancho Cordova
• Theodore Judah Elementary School — 101 Dean Way, Folsom
• White Rock Elementary School — 10487 White Rock Road, Rancho Cordova
• Williamson Elementary School — 2275 Benita Drive, Rancho Cordova
• W.E. Mitchell Middle School — 2100 Zinfandel Drive, Rancho Cordova

Families do not need to complete an application or provide proof of income to participate.

FCUSD’s Food Services Department remains committed to supporting student wellness year-round by ensuring children in the community have access to balanced meals in a welcoming environment.
