🚧 Road Closure on Fair Oaks Blvd. 4/30 & 5/1 🚧

Fair Oaks Blvd. will be closed to northbound traffic between California Ave. and Park Ave. for paving — part of the Village Park Renovation funded by Measure J! The remainder of the road paving around the park is scheduled to start in late June.

🚗 Southbound lane will be two-way traffic (with flaggers)
🚫 No parking will be available along the east side (park side). The parking stalls along the west side will be restricted to Emergency or Delivery Parking only.
🗓️ Work happening April 30–May 1, 6AM–7PM

If you haven’t seen it yet..

Over the last 6 years, I've developed a strong working relationship with Sacramento County and our District 3 Supervisor Rich Desmond, Albeit outside of Fair Oaks Recreation & Parks District jurisdiction, Rich, myself, Liz Bellas (Regional Parks Director) & fellow FORPD Director John O'Farrell all teamed up with Sacramento Metro Fire to refurbish our beloved Sailor Bar Flags. We also effectively worked with our local CHP Chief to increase patrols in specific Fair Oaks trouble spots to reduce speeding and running of stop signs. For me, it's not just about Parks & Rec but our entire community!

Fair Oaks friends. Over the next few days, I'll be posting some messages from those who are endorsing me as an incumbent running for re-election for Director on the Board for The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District. 100% of the current Board has endorsed me.
