We are adding 6 new zero-emission buses to our fleet, bringing our total to 17 electric school buses. These state-of-the-art RIDE Dreamer Type D buses are equipped with 255kWh batteries and advanced camera systems to ensure a safer, cleaner commute for our students.

“The support Rocklin Unified received allows us to continue to modernize our fleet without utilizing the school district’s general funds,” said RUSD’s Director of Transportation Matt Hebb. “We are grateful to the Sac Metro Air District for helping us with our goal of transitioning to electric buses to reduce our carbon footprint and providing a cleaner, quieter, and safer ride for our students."

By replacing aging diesel vehicles with green technology, we continue to prioritize innovation and the well-being of our community.
