"YOUR AGING. YOUR SAFETY. OUR PRIORITY." Did you see our billboard located up and down HWY 80 and HWY 65?
We’re proud to highlight a powerful partnership in Placer County!
Our District Attorney’s Office PROTECT Elder Abuse Team collaborates with Placer County Public Health – Healthy Aging to support and protect older adults in our community. Together, we’ve launched a new billboard to showcase this shared commitment:
Placer County Healthy Aging is a valued member of our multidisciplinary team (MDT), helping us provide specialized support to prevent elder abuse, neglect, and financial scams.
Through this partnership, older adults can access resources focused on:
✔️ Fall prevention
✔️ Cognitive and brain health
✔️ Home safety
✔️ Emergency preparedness
✔️ Protection from abuse and exploitation
These programs help residents stay independent, safe, and connected—often at no cost.

Nor*Cal Law Enforcement Volunteer Symposium 2026 hosted by our local partners Rocklin Public Safety Foundation Rocklin Police Department Volunteers provide a key role in helping the Police and Fire Departments provide a high level of service to the community. It was amazing to see so many agencies gather together and receive the praise they deserve, collaborate together and learn how we can keep communities safer.
Our "Shop Safe" program was highlighted for the crime-prevention made possible through the big hearts of our volunteers! This outreach program can be implemented in any county. We all have grocery stores, we all have senior residents and we all love to shop and deserve to feel safe doing it.
Our District Attorney Morgan Gire presented on the Fentanyl Crisis and shared the good work being done in & out of our office through the "1Pill Can Kill" campaign Placer County District Attorney's Office

◦ On April 23, we will come together once again not just to share a meal, but to hold space for lives lost, traumas endured, and the strength it takes to move forward.
◦ This brunch is about taking time as a community to elevate the stories of our survivors—and making sure they know they are seen, believed, and supported.
◦ It is about standing shoulder to shoulder as a community and saying, clearly and collectively, that victims are not alone and their voices matter.
We rally behind victims by listening, by honoring their experiences, and by recommitting ourselves to empowering our survivors. When we gather like this, we turn compassion into action and remembrance into resolve.
