Swoon š this wooden wall sculpture from Turkey is placed in a prominent corridor of one of our medical office projects. It is handcrafted of natural pine wood and each individual piece of wood is cut, rubbed, burned and colored with a water based pigment. The overall piece is then coated with a natural varnish to protect from discoloration. For an extra level of clean-ability, we custom fabricated an acrylic covering to prevent the collection of dust over time (pictured in the final photo).

Hereās another sustainable art piece we recently commissioned that is crafted out of locally salvaged black walnut.
By sourcing salvaged trees, to making unique forever art and furniture pieces, and Martin Diaz bring the forces of nature indoors. The process is about capturing the beauty and magic of what the earth has already created by revealing the beauty within.
Proceeds from Fillipi and Martinās artwork supports their nonprofit project - a childrenās nursery in Nepal. Their goal is to provide Nepalese families with free childcare and education in order to give the children a bright childhood. If not for the nursery, the children would be working on the farms or selling goods to tourists in order to support their families. The nursery relies on small, individual donations in order to provide these important services.

Art thatās sustainable? Count us in! These stunning pieces are skillfully crafted out of recycled and upcycled PET plastic (like used water bottles). Artist, Todd Lynd, lives along the coast in Florida and observes first hand the problem of all the plastic trash that is littering our oceans and beloved sea life. He wanted to do his part to remove this earthly cancer and turn the reusable material into beautiful art!
This set has found the perfect home in an infusion treatment center we recently completed for Sutter Health, where medical professionals are doing their part to treat patientsā various cancers and provide their community with the beauty of hope and health.
