ABC has been awarded a $2.8 million grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), to reduce underage drinking and protect communities across California.

The grant funding will also support 22 local law enforcement agencies with up to $30,000 each to combat alcohol-related harm within their communities through ABC education and enforcement programs.

This includes programs that directly benefit Californians, such as Minor Decoy and Shoulder Tap operations, the Know Your Limit program, fake identification enforcement, compliance checks, and more.

ABC is grateful for its ongoing partnership and strong support from California Office of Traffic Safety and NHTSA.
