I am proud to have secured $5,000 for Home Gardens Academy through the Barona Band of Mission Indians’ 2026 Barona Education Grant!

This is especially meaningful to me because Home Gardens Elementary is the very school I attended from kindergarten to sixth grade. Being able to give back to a school that was part of my own educational journey makes this opportunity even more special.

Thank you to the Barona Band of Mission Indians for their generosity and continued commitment to supporting students, teachers, and educational opportunities in our communities. I look forward to seeing the positive impact these funds will have on Home Gardens Academy students!

I attended an amazing event at Myra Linn Elementary School, made possible by Shoes That Fit! 👟

Every student at the school received a brand-new pair of shoes, along with fresh produce provided by Stater Bros. Markets. Stater Bros. was a valued partner in this effort and helped raise money to support Shoes That Fit and its mission.

It was wonderful to see the excitement on the students’ faces and the positive impact these organizations are making in our community.

Thank you to Shoes That Fit, Stater Bros. Markets, and everyone who helped make this special day possible for the students of Myra Linn Elementary!

It was a pleasure attending the welcome reception for the new Commander of March Air Reserve Base, Colonel Douglas Jeffrey. I was honored to present a certificate of recognition to Colonel Jeffrey and his wife, Molly, and welcome them to our community. 🇺🇸

Last Thursday, I hosted a Veterans Town Hall at American Legion Post 79 in Riverside, bringing together veterans and their families with organizations and resources available to support those who have served our country.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about state resources, benefits, and assistance related to health, housing, employment, education, and overall well-being.

Thank you to American Legion Post 79 Riverside and its Community Outreach Committee, U.S.VETS – Inland Empire, and Riverside County Veterans Services for partnering with us and providing valuable information and assistance to our local veterans.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the veterans and families who joined us. It is an honor to serve those who have served our nation. 🇺🇸

I joined Team RWB - Inland Empire for their 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, Walk, Run at Norte Vista High School to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and recognize the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call that day. I ran 2.2 miles in remembrance of the 2,200 steps it would have taken to climb the 110 stories.

Thank you to Team RWB for keeping the memory of 9/11 alive and helping ensure that younger generations understand the significance of that day and the lives forever impacted.

I attended the Halal Food Festival in Home Gardens and had the opportunity to eat the best tacos hands down from La Familia Tacos - Halal Mexican Grill and hang out with my friend Fauzia Siddiqui Rizvi . It was good to connect with her, learn about the culture and spend time in the community.
