One of my weekend’s stops was at the Woodland Holiday Parade. Thank you and for providing the opportunity to highlight local businesses, organizations, and people in a vibrant way. The community of Dixon and the State of California mourn with deep sadness the death of Private First Class Tanner Rubio of the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton. Private Rubio was a lifelong resident of Dixon, a courageous young man raised with a love of country and a profound commitment to service. My heart goes out to his family and friends as they deal with this tragic loss.
