Save the Date! In September 2024 the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California will be proud to co-host the Sacramento Region Diversity Career Fair for the third year in a row. Co-hosted with the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, the University of California, UC Davis School of Law, and the Federal Bar Association Sacramento Chapter, the event helps promote diversity in the legal profession. This year the Eastern District of California celebrated it ninth year of joining the community and its law enforcement partners at National Night Out events. As with many other outreach events, U.S. Attorney Phil Talbert personally participated, along with Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney Chi Soo Kim, two AUSAs and the EDCA's Outreach Specialist. In all, the EDCA participated in 17 events in three major cities, including Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Roseville. The EDCA's Fresno Office Chief Kirk Sherriff has plans to join in National Night Out events in Fresno on September 21, and the EDCA will also staff National Night Out Events in Davis and Bakersfield in October.
