सेव मौका परस्त या सेव सेल्फिश इंसान जैसे नारे लगाया करो, बेमतलब हर चीज का चौधरी बनने की आदत छोड़ दो...

On the way to Fatehpur stopped for some chai and breakfast in a road side dhaba. highway dhabas keep alive an entire world of travellers with some of the best food I have had. Do u agree about dhabas offering great food?

*INDIA CYCLES 4 CHANGE CHALLENGE*
•The smart cities mission has opened registration for India cycles 4 change challenge .
•Registration process starts at July 10,2020 by Indian Govt.
Objectives -
• Covid-19 to inspire Indian cities to implement quick cycling friendly intervention in the wake of Covid-19 with the support of their citizens and assistance from experts.
•Extensive cycling networks using low cost methods like pop-ups cycle lanes,
non-motorise zones and s set up community led cycle rental schemes.
Application open for cities -
•The challenge is open to all cities under the smart cities mission , capital cities of states /UTs and all cities with a population of more than 5 lakh population.
•Even the citizens , experts and civil society organisations (csos) with interest in project can collaborate.
Need of such an Initiative:-
• The need for personalised forms of transport is expected to increase.
•Some Indian cities have already started working towards this e.g Chennai Chandigarh etc.
Study -
• A recent survey by the ITDP India programme shows that cycling would increase by 50-65% as cities come out of lockdown.
• TERI study said gha if bicycles were to substitute the two and four wheelers used for short - distance trips , it can result in
√ an annual benefit of Es. 1.8 trillion I e 1.6 percent of India's GDP ( for the year 2015- 2016 )
√ zero dependence on fossil fuels
