CALCTRA is seeking someone with State of California accounting experience specific to Reports and Reconciliation. Assist with preparing and reviewing CALCTRA's monthly and year-end financial statements, accounting reports, with strong emphasis on compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) standards and cost accounting rules. Work on tasks related to the financial external audit. Perform duties for complex, analytical assignments and projects.

The Retired Annuitant (RA) functions as a specialist in the application of CALCTRA's most complex financial reporting requirements for the Reports and Reconciliation unit.

This temporary authorization for a Retired Annuitant (RA) is through the remainder of this fiscal year (to June 30, 2026).

Under general supervision of the Prison Industries Administrator, the incumbent is responsible for the processing of all procurement requests, Process payment packages and log incoming invoices and outgoing disputes. Employees having regular, direct responsibility for work supervision, on-the-job training, and work performance evaluation of at least two incarcerated individual workers who substantially replace civil service employees for a total of at least 120 hours per pay period may be eligible for Pay Differential 67. This pay differential may also apply to employees having direct supervisory responsibility over incumbents who meet the conditions stated above. Employees will have regular and substantial contact with persons incarcerated in California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation institution and/or medical facilities.
