I'm proud to help share this important opportunity for our South Sacramento community. On behalf of Councilmember Mai Vang and the District 8 team, residents are invited to the annual District 8 Community Conversations (D8CC) — a free, open event that brings City Hall directly to the community.

This year's event features a special meet-and-greet with Sacramento's new City Manager, Maraskeshia Smith, who will offer welcome remarks and host a breakout session — a meaningful chance for residents to hear directly from City leadership.

D8CC is a space for residents, City staff, and community partners to engage in open dialogue, receive real updates on neighborhood projects, and share priorities that shape the work happening in District 8.
