"A child's mental health is just as important as their physical health."- Kate Middleton

Mental health awareness for the young people.

Children and young people Mental health problems affect around one in six children. They include depression, anxiety and conduct disorder (a type of behavioural problem), and are often a direct response to what is happening in their lives.

Back to school is here, everyone has gone back to school apart from the candidates who did their national exams, they will be joining high school in July.

April holiday was the best holiday for everyone at AYI because of the weekly meetings that we had, the young adults were able to share their experiences and challenges that they encountered during the long break due to the indefinite closure of schools in Kenya last year caused by the global pandemic, we learnt about entrepreneurship, what it takes to become a good entrepreneur in Kenya and as our tradition, we never call it a session until we learn a new dance move, we learnt several new dancing styles from our all time dance choreographer Crazicon drawings . We can't wait for our next meeting in August. A big THANK YOU to everyone who made all these possible.

Congratulations to our 8th graders who have made us proud!πŸ˜€

They have all been promoted to high school. Despite the global pandemic and the indefinite closure of schools for the longest period ever, they managed to do well in their national examinations and completed 8th grade.

Kudos to our own.πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

After over one year of being apart due to the Covid 19 global pandemic, we get the opportunity to meet again.
It is a great joy to see each other, interact and share our experiences, talking about the challenges we have gone through as young adults in the society due to the global pandemic that led to closure of schools in Kenya for almost 9 months.
