Heads up! Due to a scheduled system upgrade, Tax Commission offices and call centers will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, December 15.

A new phishing scam text message is circulating. The fraudulent text asks recipients to provide their banking account information to receive a supposed tax refund. The scam text message, which may appear to come from an official source, is a deceptive attempt to steal sensitive
personal and financial data.
REMINDER:
The Utah State Tax Commission does not request banking information, Social Security numbers, or other personal data via text message.

On Monday, we had an inspiring day volunteering at The Other Side Thrift Boutique! We were honored to work alongside the dedicated students of The Other Side Academy, who do an amazing job running the store. Our team had a great time lending a hand and, more importantly, making meaningful connections.

Breaking DMV News: On July 30th, customers with an appointment at the South Valley DMV waited an average of less than 3 minutes. That's a whole lot better than the walk-ins who waited for almost an hour!
