Who We Are:
The Tom Green County Hunger Coalition is a group of organizations and community member taking action together to end hunger in our community.
The Tom Green County Hunger Coalition exists to coordinate hunger relief efforts in Tom Green County by facilitating programs that address the issue of hunger for today, tomorrow, and a lifetime. What We Do:

It's Here!!!
Again this year the Tom Green County Hunger Coalition is participating in San Angelo Gives to help support the annual Kids Eat Free Summer Meal Program and other coalition projects locally.
Through the efforts of churches, non-profits, and individuals, the Kids Eat Free Summer Meal Program has served almost 300,000 meals in our county since we began in 2010. We are looking forward to this summer for our 16th year of Kids Eat Free.

Come out to ASU on Saturday, September 14th and meet us next to Carr Hall at Rosemont at 11:00 am to join our 2K event, Outrun Student Hunger to support the Ram Pantry and the Howard College Hospitality Hutch. Bring an item(s) of shelf stable food as an entry fee for the walk/run. Get a free t-shirt, a light lunch, and put your name in the drawing for lots of free prizes!!

It's Here!!!
Again this year the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty/Tom Green County Hunger Coalition are participating in San Angelo Gives to help support the annual Kids Eat Free Summer Meal Program and other coalition projects locally.
Through the efforts of churches, non-profits, and individuals, the Kids Eat Free Summer Meal Program has served over 287,900 meals in our county since we began in 2010. We are looking forward to this summer for our 15th year of Kids Eat Free.

Due to the forecast of 100% rain on Saturday, April 20, we have made the decision to move the Outrun Student Hunger event to September 14, 2024. We will hold on to the donations that you have all acquired for the event and use them in September. If you have other items that have been donated or that you have purchased to be given out as prizes, you can bring them to our office, and we will store them here. We will need to check expiration dates on the coupons or gift cards to make sure they will still be good in September. We are planning to get the ASU sororities and other organizations involved and perhaps have a competition between the clubs so this may be a good move to have more students involved.
