For County Commissioner Pct 2..........Chad Decker

Todd Smith has a previous commitment and will not be attending. He has planned on sending a representative who will not be responding to the questions we have planned.

There are two candidates running for County Clerk

Christina Ubando, the incumbent

Lauren Barron....County Clerk employee

We welcome everyone, you do not need to be a member to attend-although if you'd like to become one, we will welcome you.

The San Angleo TEA Party meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6 PM. We are a non-partisan organization of conservative citizens that acknowledge an informed citizenry is a powerful citizenry. Our goal is to invite speakers that are can provide information and view points that inform and educate us. We invite you to join us, the coffee pot is always on, snacks and sweets are available.

In case you haven't noticed, there's another election on the horizon so this month we will be having a number of candidates for us to listen to and question.

Running for County Commissioner Precinct 2 are Chad Decker and Todd Smith. Mr. Smith has a previous commitment, but we are hoping he will at least come and introduce himself.

Candidates for County clerk are Christina Ubando and Lauren Barron.

If other candidates for the various offices stop in and we have time available they may speak very briefly. At least, if they come, you'll have a chance to meet them.

Candidates may bring signs and/or handouts for us.

Spending and Regulation in the 89th Texas Legislature 01/03/2026

Texas politicians are going to be out and about speaking words dripping with honey, be wary of all the sweetness and light. The attached link shows just how much the state budget has grown over the last few years. They're not even following the budget rules. Is it time, or past time, to start asking the hard questions? More info to follow.

Candidates for the county commissions court, Chad Decker &Todd Smith will be our forum. There's also the possibility that county clerk candidate will be there also.
