Fort Concho Elementary

Fourth Grade teachers had a great send off to our 5th grade leaders of next year with a “Tag, You’re It!” Game with their students! I think the teachers won!!! 😂😂😂😂

There was lots to celebrate at the end of this year! Our retiring teacher, Mrs. Watson, our wonderful custodians, Caroline and Paulina, and three of our fabulous teachers who will not be returning! We will miss you Mrs. Ruiz-Luna! We know you and your hubby will love your new positions in Breckenridge! Mrs. Thomas will be staying home loving on that beautiful baby boy, Weston, and Miss Jasso is going back to school to work on her master’s degree!!! Congratulations to all of these SUPERHEROES!!! You will be missed!!! ❤️🩷💛💙🧡🩵💚💜

Congratulations to the 58 students that had PERFECT ATTENDANCE this entire year! We had close to 200 students with perfect attendance for the first semester! What an accomplishment! This precious girl knows it “PAYS” to go to school!!! She was the winner of the $100 bill this year! Thank you to our PTO for supporting our students through our “Jumping for Georges” initiative!!!

Thank you to our wonderful parents and the San Angelo Rec department for hosting our 5th grade end of year party today at the Fort Concho stables! They had a great time!!! Tomorrow they will walk the halls for the last time as students! We will miss this class!!! Thanks for SIX GREAT YEARS!!! ❤️

FAREWELL TO A LEGEND!!! After 47 years of teaching, the matriarch of FORT CONCHO is retiring!!! It was an honor to work with and celebrate our dear teammate, colleague, and FRIEND! Penny Watson, you will be missed and loved and remembered forever! YOU are truly a DIFFERENCE MAKER! We love you Mrs. Watson!!! Thank you for the years of hard work, dedication, late nights, early mornings, Science camps, Distinguished Scholars, community outreach, excellent leadership and teaching, and most of all, the laughter and great times we’ve all shared! We love you more than our luggage! Be safe out there on those roads!!! Remember, the road goes on forever and the party never ends!!! We’ll miss you sweet friend!
