San Antonio Zoo to offer $8 admission on Friday for Locals Day If you don’t have any plans on Friday, the San Antonio Zoo is offering discounted admission for Bexar County residents as part of Locals Day.

According to reports, a Florida woman won over $11 million after breaking her leg in a 2019 fall at a Target parking lot in Winter Garden. She twisted her left ankle, then fell and fractured her right tibia, fibula, and lateral malleolus while holding her child. Her legal team rejected a $250,000 settlement offer, and a jury found Target 90% at fault, awarding her $11.39 million.

Jennifer Escalera, a female officer with Harris County Constable Precinct 5, is under investigation after a TikTok surfaced showing her in uniform, joking that she’s giving out tickets because she didn’t “get cracked” the night before. The viral clip quickly sparked backlash, with her department confirming Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into her... extracurricular activities. Her account had several uniformed posts—some now deleted.
